A pop-up inside a pop-up! Evanston’s own RareJule Vintage brings a spring-themed sample of her collection of vintage clothing and accessories to the Swantiques Spring Pop-Up. Spend the first weekend in May discovering an array of both casual and formal dresses, printed separates, colorful accessories, as well as statement jewelry, inside a striking setting of mid-century furniture and decor. Fitting room and full-length mirror will be available!
On Saturday, May 11th, Swantiques will feature a fabulous collection of watercolor paintings from artist Victor Ing. Ing was a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a longtime North Shore resident. He was elected to the American Watercolor Society in 1968 and he exhibited his work at art fairs in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. Ing’s daughter, Silwai Ing, will host a reception at Swantiques’ Pop-Up, sharing stories of her father’s interesting life and art.
Pop in to the Swantiques Pop-Up and shop a curated and cool collection of one-of-a-kind antique, vintage, and mid-century modern pieces.
Located at 2016 Central Street in Evanston, the shop will celebrate its opening night on Friday, April 26th from 6 pm – 9 pm to coincide with the Central Street Business Association’s April In Paris spring event. Come mingle with friends and neighbors, enjoy refreshments, and shop the unique furnishings and décor. Swantiques will have regular pop-up shop hours Wednesdays through Sundays until June 2nd.
This is the 4th pop-up from Swantiques and will feature a collaboration with fellow Evanston-based, woman-owned Cultivate Urban Rainforest & Gallery. Follow @swantiques on Instagram and Facebook to get a first look at exciting new items arriving daily and to learn about special event information.
